 My name is Joyce Gowens and I play a lead role in the creation of each Career Kit offered by Bizymoms. On a day to day basis there is a lot of hard work that goes into creating each Career Kit. There are countless hours spent scrutinizing over each aspect of the career itself and the kit as a whole. The goal is to bring you a PREMIUM Career Kit that you can truly use and succeed with. But who cares about all the behind the scenes mumbo jumbo? All the techno talk and write-ups and research meetings….ah, that’s not what you really care about is it? No, I think what matters more is the heart entwined with each Career Kit.
I initially started looking for a home business about 10 years ago. At first all I cared about was “can I make money?” That unfortunately led me to fall prey to a scam, a lesson quickly learned. Then I wanted to prove something to the negative people around me. That unfortunately led me to feeling miserably depressed because it was the first step in setting myself up for failure. Then I decided to try and follow my heart. Wow, that worked a lot better! It put me on an almost clear path to finding my perfect home business. During all the trials and errors and steps to success…I was always more interested in affairs of the heart rather than the technical talk.
What I cared most about was how the business or the business opportunity suited me. If it was direct sales… was it something I was interested in? If it was a business from scratch the question was “where do I begin?” For me, I began with one business at a time; simple as that. I made my way through one learning experience after another until I got it right. And getting it right didn’t mean perfection… it meant meeting up with less and less obstacles as I learned more and more.
Each lesson was a wealth of knowledge for me. Lessons are often misrepresented as failures. Does this ring a bell--“I failed with so many other businesses that I’m afraid to start yet another one?” They are not failures….they are lessons. Go back and review each experience, what can you take away from those lessons? That is what is important. It wasn’t always easy but I learned a lot of lessons on my journey. I also filled my brain with a lot of useful information that can benefit not just one stay at home or work at home mom but many moms! And so I have been fortunate enough to take part in creating our Career Kits. I work with an awesome team of people that puts a lot of energy and time into making sure that each Career Kit brings you just what you need to start your home business. Fact - Adding carts and features to a website can be a nightmare. If you make it easy and hire someone then you are dealing with additional costs. Again, all this is taken into consideration as each Career Kit is developed. If it’s what you need then we’ll deliver!
Fact - Sure there are free sites that do this stuff for you. But are these free sites truly thinking about your best interest? Nah, they are adding their own banners and ads on your time. Why don’t we add our banners on our Career Kit websites? Because when you purchase a kit the site is yours. Not ours. The only thing we will do is help you market. That’s a big promise, but I promise you, we’ll deliver!
Fact - Marketing a business can be a slow start. You have to get your name out there and build a trust around it. At Bizymoms we are a big site and can accomplish this more quickly.
